|
Kirkman’s unscented shampoo is a hypoallergenic, no tears or eye irritation
formulation, with excellent foaming and cleaning properties. The hypoallergenicity
and no eye sting properties have been confirmed by independent, dermatologist reviewed, clinical testing. This shampoo is free of sodium laurel sulfate and contains no fragrance of any kind.
A brief summary of the ingredients in Kirkman’s basic unscented shampoo is as follows:
- Purified water.
- Decyl Glucose is the primary cleaning agent in the shampoo and is considered the
mildest form of detergent available for shampoos and is also the least likely to cause
any sensitivity reaction.
- Cocamidopropyl Betaine - a coconut/betaine compound used as a foam booster, thickener, and conditioner.
- D-Calcium Pantothenate (Pro-Vitamin B-5) - a B vitamin known to have hair conditioning
effects with regular use. It also moisturizes the hair even in dry conditions.
- Xanthan gum - a natural viscosity building vegetable gum.
- Citric Acid - for pH control.
